FInally after more than 5 years, that I’ve the time to add the-easy-to-use online Contact Form to my own personal website.
The site has been around since 2002 and has been relocated to 3 different web servers since its establishment. Previously the website serves as my online portfolio where it serves as a point of contact for potential employers to reach me.
Now I guess it is just a personal website where people can get to know me or contact me through the web page as I am not actively seeking for job right now (yes I am still voluntarily unemployed!)
For the curious mind, I’ve use some of the techniques describe here to create the Contact Form, enjoy!
Upgraded my PC operating system to Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). The upgrade took about 6 hours because of the amount of (free) softwares installed on my computer.
The upgrade was smooth and went without a single hick-ups. I’ve written an Ubuntu Gutsy upgrade tutorial here
Compiz (read: cool desktop effects) is installed by default and it just take one-click enable it and it work well to on my 6 year old Pentium 4 1.7GHz pc. Though I think a leap to the latest AMD(or Intel Core 2 Duo) processor would be nice.
All in all, I love using Ubuntu, easy software installation, no constant virus/spyware problem, low maintenance and less headache, enough said.

I was searching for some Pocket PC related books in Google Books service and suddenly I was attracted at the Google Book Search blog post titled “Breaking the fast” which list books related the the Muslim festive celebration (Eid Al Fitr or Aidilfitri as it is called in my place).
I was fascinated by the books listed there and spends almost an hour browsing the search result, enough to make me forget my original intention for searching Pocket PC related books on the website.
Well, guess i need to be more focussed next time!
After viewing others’ video hundreds of times, I finally posted my very first Youtube video on the internet. It’s about my chickens that I keep as pets in my backyard. The brownish hen (named Koko) is currently my favorite chicken.
Here are my very first videos that I uploaded to the Youtube (taken with Dopod P800w PDA) :

Hi there and welcome to my weblog. My nick is mypapit and currently I’ve been blogging on Mypapit GNU/Linux and Mobile Programming Pit website which are focussed on a specific topic.
Why create another blog?
The reason I decided to start yet another blog is because I felt the need to have a platform where I can post my personal views and opinion which does not fit very well on both of my special-topic blog.
This is where I’m going to post about my rants, ramblings, photos, movie reviews and other stuff that interest me for others to read. I create this blog specifically for my friends, would-be friends and casual reader as a way of sharing my thoughts.
I hope that you would enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing them. If you’ve any questions you may contact me using the contact form here
